Okay so I have been thinking for a while to start blogging but never did. The reason being very simple, that I am lazy. So here I am finally out of my shell of laziness to write, to blog, to communicate, to make new friends.
As you all know by now, I am a lazy person. And so it won't be very surprising for you when I say that I have never cleaned my room myself in the two decades of my existence(yes, that's how old I am ).
I am on the way to becoming an engineer (yep, finally final year). Engineering is the excuse I have been using for the past three years to get out of this cleaning thingy. Engineers are always pressed for time you know (:P).
But on a more serious note, I am a pampered child. And not just me, my brother and sister as well. My parents need to be applauded for managing to pamper all three of us for all these years. My parents are a weird kind; they taunt us for being so lazy and yet never let us do anything by ourselves.
And so today, I decide to clean my room (the one I share with my sister). I begin with my dressing table, worked my way through the over-flowing drawers and the dusty shelves. The thing about cleaning is, it is difficult for one (atleast me) to decide whether to put away a thing or retain it. So it also involves some thought process ( :) ). For a beginner, I wasn't too bad. Although it took me longer, I think I did a good job.
Ofcourse there were quite a few cockroaches, trying to run deeper, in an effort to hide. I am not the kind of girl to scream and run away at the sight of a cockroach (dogs, lizards, rats or any other disgusting pest is altogether a different story though). Roaches, I can bravely confront.
After all the dusting, scrubbing and cleaning, I, now, look at my room with immense pride (I know, too much it is :D) The room is picture-perfect, with the wardrobe closed ofcourse. I can work on the wardrobe 'TOMORROW' ( :P ).
So at the end of the day, I did two things that I have been putting off all this while...clean my room and blog. Wow, I am on fire. Yeah, call me lazy now ;)
